and my cs and hl is up to date

What kind of error message do u get? btw the latest beta is 7.1

Are you running OGL mode? This is a common problem (for HALF-LIFE) to be addressed in the newest patch. Until then, go with crappy Direct3d Or crappier Software rendering.

Well if you dredge up threads from say the vid card forum you might see some saying the GF2 was king, or in the CPU forum talking about the release of the p4. Its not really appropriate to bump something like this.
