I'm creating a new, cleaner UT directory (clean install, adding only the maps, models, skins, etc... that I really like), but I don't want to lose my place in the single-player tournament: I'm two levels away from beating the game.

Anybody know what file from my old directory I need to copy or what settings I need to modify to preserve my game status? The User.ini folder has various "DoorOpen" settings for what appear to be the tournament levels, and a bit below that are some "Saves" settings.

I just don't want to guess wrong and screw this up, so any experienced or knowledgable advice will be appreciated.

Thanks.

I just did a re-install and saved the user.ini and Unreal Tournement. ini files from my old game. Not sure which one did it, but I have my saved games and setup preferences.

Thanks, Rick.
Since posting this, I've been doing some experimenting. It seems that those DoorOpen and Save files at the end of the User.ini folder can be cut-and-pasted to save your game status. I also included the section on Stats, just in case.

BTW, this trick of having multiple UT folders has been great; I have one clean, new install, one that I use for single play that has all my maps, models, mods, etc..., and one simplified one that I use when I run as a LAN server. This way, my buddies don't sit there forever while I dump all my custom maps onto their hard drive. I just name and rename the folders appropriately depending which game version I want to run. You can have as many versions of UT as you have hard drive space for.

Thanks for responding, Rick.
