Usually when I get that message it means:
a.) The server is runnning a different version than you are.
b.) your version of CS is out of date. What I recommend is look at what version of CS you are running.
The current version that I know of is 1.0 and you can get that from www.counter-strike.net (http://www.counter-strike.net)
