Serious Sam will ROCK !

I think one of the cooles games next year will be Serious Sam.
The 3D engine is absolutely great with it's huge scale terrain and indoor graphics.
Finally we can kill lots of enemys at the same time with classic weapons.
I don't need to wait for DOOM3. Serious Sam is my DOOM3.

i guess if you like doom than you would like serios sam. i D/L the demo and thought it was... old and tiresome. i didnt think the graghics engin was that hot either. not after playing UT. i wont be buying it.

I have to agree. I can't see what all the fuss is about. The graphics engine offers nothing new or overly impressive and the gameplay got repetitive after I shot my 20th enemy. The weapons were also too familiar - shotgun, pistols, knife... and now in the full game there will be a chaingun and sniper rifle. Admitedly you can't judge a game by its tech demo, but I don't hold such high hopes for this game being that great. Fun in an old school kind of way, maybe, but not as special as some people seem to think. Mine is not gonna be a popular opinion, but i stand by it. :) (Waits for the flames to start ;) )

I don't care what these guys say because I liked the serious sam test too. The final proof may be in sales, (but then again some really good games have flopped)
