Where to pre-order playstation 2?

Try going to the Electronics Boutique web site. EBWorld (http://www.ebworld.com)
I remember seeing that you could pre-order it there. But be prepared to pay "in full" up front. That is the latest news I have heard. That if you want a PS2 guaranteed delivery on Oct 26th, 2000, then you will need to pre-order, paid in full.

Sony said last week that they weren't going to ship their full allotment of PS2's to North America, and that the European release was being pushed back. Something tells me if you haven't already gotten one on reserve/paid for, you might be out of luck.

I would reccomend trying Toys R Us or Wal Mart. They are likely the largest customers for the PS2 in North America, and so you've got the best chance there I think!

Thanks Softball & Warin, I think that my best bet is going to be to try to get it from some store that doesn't sell online. I checked EBWorld and they were like if you paid in full before July 26, you might get one before Christmas!

I second that. Some of the games look good, but nothing great.

I pre-ordered mine from a vendor back in the first week of May and they still tell me that I might not get it in time.
