I don't want to blow you out of the water but you give your system spec as two IBM Deskstars and a 'Raid' motherboard cin configuration '0'; and I seem to remember reading that this does jack in increasing speed performance of the hard drive configuration! Ha
I will be upgrading to a PII400 due to my Dad's work clearing out there old machines and it'll cost about a tenner; howsat for bang for your buck or pound? Heh?

Duo: Check out www.tribes2.com (http://www.tribes2.com) or look around various sites for screenshots, it really looks like a tremendous game! I never played Tribes myself, but Tribes2 just looks too tempting to pass up!

Probably the best online game. http://www.sharkyforums.com/ubb/wink.gif The netcode is the best out there. On my 56k it runs very smooth. Yes, Tribes has been out for 2 years and the graphics are rather dated, but its still fun as hell. http://www.sharkyforums.com/ubb/smile.gif

The graphics in Tribes are very outdated, but after playing it for five minutes, you forget about them because the play is SO AWESOME! By the way, this isn't really the place to ask, but does anybody else experience problems with the jet sounds and the sounds from the chaingun cutting out once in awhile? I have an SB Live 5.1 any help?

I've got the SB Value Live, I have experienced things like the chain gun sounds being out of sync, but I think that was only on one or two games I've played.

This game (Tribes for the mo, till Tribes2) soo much of my time. I hate early mornings, but am often there when that evil grey morning light comes through my window...

Yeah, with the Beta being put on hold so they can fix some of the bugs, it is looking more like a January/February release. I was hoping for it to be out soon, but hopefully they will take their time and not rush it out the door.
