EMPEROR : battle for Dune ?

What is up with this game ? Saw the ad on the back of the red alert 2 cd case. Dune 2 was the game that started the whole RTS era.

I dont know very much about it,but im quite shure with some digging around u will find some previews.All i know its a 3D RTS,maybe sporting same units as its predecessors,situated in the Dune universe.
I trully hope this time it will succede,since i had a big dissapointment with dune 2000 game ,wich was desastruous to play.

The game looks awesome. There's a preview you can download for it. Also, if you buy Red Alert 2, there is a preview for it under the Movies area of the CD.

Dune 2000 was pretty dissapointing. Especially since they changed the siege tanks from Dune 2 to the exact same thing as artillary from Red alert in Dune 2000. I hope the new dune is good!

don't get over excited. westwood is making it. that means it will be pretty much like every other game they make. they havent changed interface in 7 years. theyve barely changed engines in 7 years!

well... we can always hope ! Dune 2 was, in my opinion,one of the greatest games of all time. so they do have a good history. we'll just have to play and see !

Dude, you really oughta download the early trailer from www.westwood.com (http://www.westwood.com) , the game is gonna be smokin'. And if the trailers are any indicators, they've made some improvements.... http://www.sharkyforums.com/ubb/smile.gif


Only disapointing aspect of it all is, the game comes out in late 2001!!

They will come out with new graphic engine because this is the first 3D RTS game of Westwood. http://www.sharkyforums.com/ubb/wink.gif I hope they bring back that female assistant voice of the house of Artrikes(err forgot spelling..).
