Does anyone know if any effort has been made for continuing the line of games below?

Sim City 3000 Unlimited > SC4K perhaps???

Need For Speed: PU > NFS:6 (Hopefully something with hot pursuit mode!! GRR)??

Age of Empires 2 > AOE3 (wishing for unlimited units)??

Motocross Madness 2 > MCM 3

A more graphically advanced Half Life and hopefully something that takes more time to complete than *AHEM* BLUE SHIFT *AHEM*.

I did hear that they may be working on another "Age of" game, but I'm not sure what kind it will be. I think this one is going to be based on the fantasy and myth part, though I think that may not be part of the Microsoft line. I am pretty sure that Microsoft is going to put out another one though.

Nfs 6 is motor city online, that is coming along, but i am unsure when it will be out.

There might be a new age of empires game, but i can't imagine what time line they will use. I know that there is a star wars game comin out based on the aoe 2 engine, dunno when it will be available.

I am almost positive there will be a sc4k but when or if it is even in development i am unsure of. the sim city games are some of the best selling games of all time, Maxis would be stupid not to make another game.

I also heard that a few of the madness games might come out on the xbox, motocross might be one of them, i dunno if it will come out on pc.

Well crap. I personally don't want to buy another console! I feel like the PC has advantages over the console, and I for one love buidling PC's and upgrading to the newest video cards and processors... consoles don't impress me. If they made games on the X-box and ported them to the PC (like much porting would be needed, it's all Microsoft & nVidia) I could live with that, but making things exclusively for a console that is an amazing game (ie: GT3) then that sucks.

SC3? The next Maxis biggie is an integration of Sims and SC-3000.

The next Need4Speed is an online affair, I have serious doubts.

AOE? Great things here, 3, count em', 3 new AOE games.

Empire Earth will be the first, and AOE that spans from the stone age to the space age. All in 3D. Due September 2001

Age of Mythology - AOE with mythological units and Heros. Due March 2002

Age of Empires 3 - Industrial Age. Loads of gun powder units, focused on the 1500-1900 range. Due January 2003

Well, I sure hope There will be a new Half-Life, and my guess is it will kick major buttage. As for AOE, that sounds really cool, to go from the stone age to the space age! Need For Speed needs to make a game that has hot pursuit mode like NFS 3 & 4... Aside from the Porsches in NFS 5 I didn't like the game. I say make a NF6 with tons of new cars and hot pursuit mode. I guess what I really want is a game where you can actually rob banks and so forth and get in your car and outrun cops... but instead of GTA I would like to actually be able to go into banks and so forth and control the guy like similar to a FPS... but anyways, maybe someday.

? i don't get what you are saying. Duke Nukem Forever is a PC game that is coming along fine. Check fileplanet.com for a video. Duke Nukem 3D is the only PS game i can think of and there were a few for the N64.
