Yeah. That makes sense. I remember thinking it was out of place when I got FS2000, even before the disaster. I remember kind of raising my eyebrow a bit when I was running the intro for the first time. It's always been an old joke since FS first came out to fly into the Sears tower and all that. It's odd how the current events could even shape the gamepay habits of flight sim fans.

Hey, maybe now people will actually use FS to learn how to actually fly a plane correctly!

Hmmmmmm.

I remember getting FS for my Commodore 64 http://www.sharkyforums.com/ubb/wink.gif It was a lot of fun to plot a flight across a great distance and actually do it.. Some of them lasted 10+ hours with refuling stops along the way.. Of coursre this was at 1 fps and I was happy to have it! lol

No doubt eh!

Remember the custom plane option in FS4, where you could alter the wing form and angle? The f-20 model was reduced to subsonic speed, which made it tough to really have fun with it. I remember messing around with that for hours. It wasn't X-plane or anything, but still fun for it's time.

All I know is that I wouldn't patch my game to remove the WTC. Thats just stupid. Are we to pretend it was never there in the first place?

It's up to the user I guess. Me? I just wan't a historicly accurate scenery setting. The whole WTC event I keep in my heart.
