Identifying different Processor-cores

Hi!

Does anybody has a display of results from running P3's with different cores? In the coppermine family there is A, B and C cores.

(And anybody got ay tip how to make resellers to let their secrets into common knowledge according to witch P3-core they put inside your hood?)

As for the reseler's question,I don't know,but I sugest building ur own pc ,so u can shop for the right components by urself,using the exactly FPO/BATCH u need.

Thanks for the link! My plan is to build it myself. But, salesmen rarely knows the cores of their own products. The only way seems to get in touch with any salesman who carries a large amount of PIII's in stock...because the package of PIII's isn't telling anything about the core...or does the sticker realy say something about it?

when you buy the cpu (oem or retail) they'll have their part number on it. (such as SL45Y, SL3XM or whatever) so just go by those.
