People said the same thing about Ghost Recon but that just adds to the fun and tactics ;) trust me you will change your mind once you play a game with enormous amounts of fog.

As for the gore, from what I've heard multiplayer has less, but single player still has it. Its a bit mor realistic though, one shot from an M60 to the leg will probably not sever it like in SOF.
I've had my eye on this game since E3 of last year, its been a long wait.

I havent played single player of sof2 that much, but from what I have heard it is very dissapointing, just not that fun. I like the random mission generator. It randomly creates a level with buildings, random terrain, and guys and gives you an objective. Endless posiblities! Hopefully they make some improvements before the final release.
