I know that they decided not to release anymore info or screen shots or anything. But han't there been any speculation as to when the game will acually come out. I've been waiting half a decade for this game thats a quarter of my entire life! I know that it can't be as bad as Daikatana was, but I also don't see it ever living up to anyones expectations after this long. Hype kills! I'm not sure even Dukes great one liners can save him now. Duke has gone from one of the best game franchises of all time, to a joke. "When it's done" is too little info. I would at least like to know if the game will ever see the light of day! It's been so long that most people don't even care anymore. It's really sad.

I asked about it in there forums like a year ago and they banned me..DNF is vaporware, 3drealms is just using it to keep a higher profile on there company for the little cheapy console duke games they make.

I dropped Duke Nukem Forever like I dropped a bad habit along with Team Fortress 2: Brotherhood of Arms. 4 years for TF2 and still in the making and 6 years for DNF and still in the making is too much of my time. It is depressing thinking about it because daikatana didn't do so well when they tried to use the whole "we got the years behind us" routine.

Part of what killed daikatana was the fact that the game sucked ***. TF2 and DNF could still come out and be partially succesful if they are any good. But it is pretty depressing to think that these games are probably vaporware. Oh well!

Your right but the keyword here is "partially" I dont want to wait anywhere past a year for a game that is partially good if you get what I mean :). Your right the game did suck *** and part of that was because it took so long to begin with lol! They rebuilt the game so many times in that 7 years and hired so many teams just like DNF did that its not funny.

TF2 can be a success I think but DNF is following the exact same route that Daikatana did.

I hated DN, so I could really care less about vaporware DNF.

I think it should be renamed:

Duke Nuke'm Never!

I really think they stopped working on it several times... in order to push out those cheesy console versions.

If it is ever gonna come out it would have to be soon. I mean if you read the faq on their website it sounds like the game was almost finished a long time ago! What if they changed engines again and just didn't tell anybody! LOL  That would be freakin' funnier than anything! :D

OK, I also voted yes! :D

In the software industry, it's a pleasant change to see a company who prioritises quality of gameplay over relase schedules set out by their marketing departments.

I've accually read rumors that they were going to wait for the Doom 3 engine! I can't really believe it though, I mean the game was almost done with the unreal engine.

Dude about TF2
My speculation is that Valve is taking so long cause th TF2 engine will most likey be whats going to power HL2 as well.
And from what I heard HL2 is already in production (I THINK) so they basicaly have TF2 being made,HL2 AND they have CS ******** to worry about.
