Regardless of how many UT's come out...they will never be equal to the all-mighty Q3A :p :p
Seriously though, Im glad to see the next-gen engines are starting to emerge, and I can't wait for Doom 3 to be released.
That being said, Ill be there when the new UT series is released.

Does anyone know what the minimum required video card will be for these? I'm using a Geforce2 MX right now and i figure it might be time to upgrade. And UT is pretty much the only game I play, so... will I need a Geforce4 or will a 3 do?

Save your money and get a geforce 3 ti 200... then wait for the next generation of video cards. The newest generation (gf 4's) aren't that much different from their predecessors. However, the next big thing will make quite a big difference, i believe (NV30)

HAH! I pity those who were FOOLED into thinking that UT was better than Quake3! For the minds of the weak I guess UT could suffice. But Q3 was clearly the superior game. Clouded your mind is.... if you believe UT to be superior...yes!......Clouded!...and WEAK..

I hope UT2003's dodging is as good as it is supposed to be. UT's dodging is what won my heart vs Q3a. I also just prefer the movement of UT over Q3. AND Q3 doesnt have Instagib with a shock rifle.

quake 3 = better graphics, faster gameplay
UT = most techniques in movement, better weapons, better gameplay, best mods, best AI in bots, more addictive, still playing it in lan.
---------conclusion: ID latest games dissapointed me in gameplay and fun(RTCW)...i cant wait for the UT sequel.
