I was wondering if someone from Sharkyextreme's staff could walk me through the review site's copy flow. In other words, which editors handle the writers' articles and in what order.
I'm asking because myself and a small band of hooligans are organizing a software and hardware review site. My background lies in print journalism, but online publications are new territory.
Thanks in advance.

Lets see... Vince freeman pretty much reviews whatever they have reviewed, and catalyst is the forum admin...

you should really try to find a system that works for your group.
Trav was right on with his comment, though. I handle the forums, and vince does the content. He has a pretty rough job :P

Oh man I must be out of it, Housen is gone? What happened to him? Or should I not be asking?

The flow of the articles really differs depending on the author. Some writers need virtually no editing, while others should be passed through a few 'editing sessions" when necessary, with potentially more than one person looking through the work.
There is really no set pattern, as the "copy flow" I use is highly dependant on the writer, the subject matter (guide vs. review vs. preview) and a host of other intangibles.

Oh Jago BTW it wasn't anything bad AFAIK about Housen, he apparently got a job he liked closer to home...
