TAZTG 08-16-2002, 05:01 PM You need to have the PIC/Image on a Web Page. There are several free sites that you can get for free. Then you can right click the image and copy the address by highlighting it another right click and select copy. Then you come back here and select IMG and paste into the window that opens. When you click OK you will see [Address]. Your Picture will show up after that. :) Shades710 08-16-2002, 05:05 PM thanks for helping me but is there any other way to do this fbs1992 08-16-2002, 07:35 PM there probably is but that is the easiest m316foley 08-16-2002, 08:53 PM Originally posted by Shades710 thanks for helping me but is there any other way to do this Well, you setup an ftp and let people download the picture from your computer to theirs, but its probably easiest if you got it hosted :) fbs1992 08-16-2002, 09:41 PM or you could just host them on your computer, but you would have to keep your pc on 24/7 tu2thepoo 08-16-2002, 10:02 PM Originally posted by Shades710 thanks for helping me but is there any other way to do this sure, ASCII art - or telepathic transmission. seriously, thuogh, there's no way to post images other than hosting them off-site (which means using a webhost of some kind), since sharkyforums has file attachments disabled in vbulletin. kidsony 08-17-2002, 06:41 PM you can use any web page company, geocities, tripod, 50megs, ect. The trick is you rename the image format before you upload it. Say it is pic.jpg When you go to upload it change it to pic.abc The server wont see it as a pic but browsers still will and then you can use any hosting company. johndoe23 08-17-2002, 07:50 PM Originally posted by kidsony you can use any web page company, geocities, tripod, 50megs, ect. You only need to do that for crappy hosts that block image hosting. Try Brinkster (http://www.brinkster.com) , you won't need to rename your files to post them and they give lots of storage room and no ads.
