volumn control script?

Hi,
After installing a new Turtle Beach sound card, the volumn defaults to maximum volumn whenever the PC is restarted. Is there any way of installing a small program, etc., in the start menu or elsewhere, that would set the volumn to midlevel?

I've not done it but maybe you could use some windows script recorder to open the volume properties and manually put it at the proper level. I'd use only keyboard controls. Might work ok.

is that an extra volume controller that came with turtle beach, or is it Windows volume that is set it to min?
