Hey just got finished putting some 80mm ones into Big Blue they look pretty good. You will notice that I broke off that Purple Handle on the fan holder. I think it looks better broken off.

How many, and where did you place your CCs?

looks sweet, why not paint the inside of the case black? That would go w/ blue pretty good :D

3-Fans (See PIC), 1-CC (Bottom), I don't think Black would be good for the inside. Thanks..

Shame they don't make Blue Motherboards. THEN Big Blue would be complete :D
Although, I have seen a tutorial about painting PCB's with plain ol' Auto paint. Didn't harm to board (it was a SBLive!) at all. Think about trying that?

I was goign to get those fans, they are beutifull: just too expensive, and don't blow enough air.

Gigabyte makes blue MoBos... But we don't want to sacrifice looks for performance, take it from me. Although my GigaByte board hasn't given me any problems, I still would prefer a faster board. Looking good as usual TAZTG!

I have the 2-92mm in front, and the 120mm on top. I was concerned about the Volcano 7 keeping the CPU with the fan but I am not OC and don't really use it for gaming anymore. They do blow 32 still which isn't to bad. Thanks G33K..

Hmmmw wouldn't auto paint insulate the PCB and create heat problems? I'm sure there has to be some kind of downside to painting it.

Metku (http://metku.net/index.html?sect=view&n=1&path=mods/cardpainting/index_eng) does't say any negative things, so I can only take their word for it. In that article, they only do the top side (because you don't see the bottom), but they do mention about protective laquer used for PCB.
I have an extra TNT2 M64 and an old half-duplex soundcard that's gathering dust, so I think I might try the top and bottom if I have the time and the funds in the future. Right now I'm pouring every cent of my budget into polishing off Swordfish, so don't expect me to do it anytime soon.

I prefer the UV fans over them, but I don't think I'll be using any due to the fact that they're not practical for me. I prefer the Tornado's at 84.1CFM over the UV sensitive's at 30CFM. :D
here's a pic for everyone: http://store6.yimg.com/I/svcompucycle_1705_2992117

looks pretty sweet taz. i run one of those fans as an intake for my case, and have a bunch of patterned holes in the front of my case which the fan glows through quite nicely...but no digital camera to post a pic :(
anyway, definately a nice touch for big blue :)

What about simply painting the fan blades of one of them Vantec Tornado's with some UV sensitive paint, using a tiny paintbrush? I don't think it would affect airflow at all (maybe just a few cfm's)

I could just lightly spray it too. I highly doubt any paint would get in the motor. Surely if any did the power of the Tornado could tear it off. :)
The problem being that I want it to look natural. If I screw up on the Tornado, I'm screwed. :(
My new PSU http://www.pccasegear.com.au/images/truebluepbb.jpg comes with the fans fitted by antec so i dont need to void the warranty (for a change) :D Sorry it's not a real good pic, but it's all the store has onit's site :(

hell of a deal considering the fans themselves are far more than $5 each
free shipping on both colors fans (http://www.buy.com/retail/searchresults.asp?search_store=1&querytype=comp&qu=antec+fans&loc=101)
I have the trueblue, it rocks
but it doesn't have the blue fans, just has normal clear ones and 2 blue LEDs in the middle of the psu.
Still is quite bright ^^
I love mine =D
