When is it coming out for the PC? Splinter Cell is a refreshing game that has finally put my faith back in console gaming. Although I'm going to be playing it on the PC, it's nice to know there are still killer apps out there in the light of crappy games and a general trend in lower quality.

i for one dont like it at all.shame because i had high hopes but i guess its not my sort of game.graphics seemed very dissapointing compared to screen shots,not to bad but in screenshots they looked awsome-i cant stand high amounts of static shading though-would rather do without.seemed very badly optimised to

i agree the demo wasnt too impressive, but the graphics were great, im sure that the game is a lot deeper. they dont want to give too much away in the demo

In my opinion, it's very simple. This game is all about stealth. If this doesn't appeal to you, then you won't like it. When I say it's all about stealth, I mean it. I see as a game that requires a lot of thought, and for that very reason is rather rewarding to play. On a side note, I love the graphics.

this game is one of the coolest games ever! who ever hates it is probably a giants fan, they have no sense of reality. this game is cool because its callenging. if you are caught, then man after man is going to be looking for u and trying to shoot u. its all about stealth. thats one of the unique features. u can accually hide from your enemies!! ive never played this good of a game in my life, well, maybe halo is the only exception.........

i read o post somewhere about how PS# is coming out, and there is a link to an article about splinter cell. they say that they are going to make it for ps2 and gc. so dont worry, it should be out by the end of this year. its a long time though...

This reminds me a lot of the Thief series where stealth was key to winning. We'll see if it holds the attention of the UT2003 freaks.

Well, you're generally correct but there are quite a few console games out there that are very good, JK2, Halo series, Metroid Prime, etc.
I am a total PC gamer myself though.

I play all things... Console and PC... There are some only for console games that I like and some only for PC games I like and tons of games for both :) Splinter Cell is one of them ;)
