There are a couple really huge threads proving that it was more than just a hoax. Do a search for it.

I had it for a while, and it was pretty neat. I was mostly just glad that it ran halfway decently.

if you mean the e3 version. I have it. I get around 30 FPS with my amd xp 2400+/512 ddr2700/GF-MX440

it is an amazing game i tell you. 3 levels of doom3 :D (cool)

its real , ATI leaked it out , and a irc beta group nuked it to the public . yes i have alpha. its not a lie its real here is a screenshot i made

when you run the game goto console and type these

r_mode 7 press enter (this will make your video res higher)
then type vid_restart
then type map e3/e3_1

i also got Command and Conquer Generals :)

i have it for over 5 months now thats not a lie either. And i have had the ut2003 alfpa version in Dec. 2001. :D

i see that you dont play doom full screen, you change r_fullscreen 0 to r_fullscreen 1 in consol or the .ini file
