Is there an easy way to force TCP/IP ports in Windows XP.

I open a dos window and run netstat
c:\netstat

Which gives me a list of open ports on my computer and who is connected to them. Is there a simply code or script that can be would allow me to close open ports?

Xp is supposed to have a built-in firewall. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with it, because I use another 3-rd party firewall (Outpost). So you could try that, but the only other way that I know you could close ports in XP is to make sure that whichever service is stopped and/or disabled.
