Howdy,I want to get a Toshiba 2410 , what do people think of Toshiba laptops ? are the DVD's in laptops any good ? Thanks

I have no experience with that particular model, but Toshiba laptops generally have a very good reputation.

DVD drives in laptops are very similar in behavior & capability to their desktop counterparts. (They're all just plain ol' IDE DVD drives, after all.) If you're wondering about DVD movies, they're very watchable on newer, faster laptops.

Toshiba I have heard good things about just check and see what the battery life is on that particular model. Some newer laptops get rather pathetic battery life, and you don't want to get stuck with something that you have to plug in all the time.

Well, as I said before in some other thread, I had a friend who had Toshiba, and he was very satisfied of it! But yes check out the battery life, it might turn out to be some ****! Well, you know!

Very well built laptop - haven't had any issues yet :)
