Hello guys!!
I just bought this setup... should be here tomorrow. Was wondering if anyone has this "Z4 Intercooler Kit" See it [https://www.cpufx.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=o&Product_Code=ZIK&Category_Code=K/] This will be my first step into the water cooling world ...

I'm creating a totally sick case ... I use to have a Custom Motorcycle & Classic Car shop and...I do Metal Polishing and Powder Coating. So, I'm tricking out a case to the 9's ... Any info on this setup would be helpful... Thanks in advance ...

First off, Welcome to the threads.:)

You have to be patient. You don't have to dis sharky's. There aren't too many people that watercool and you would have got more post if you put this in the cases and cooling section.

Anyways your kit looks kind of nice. Haven't heard too much about aqua watercooling setups but it doesn't look bad.

BTW, I like that modding idea.:)

the thing with watercooling is that most poeple on sharkys dont watercool (are kids or cant afford it) and the few that do mostly stick with the well known brands (dangerden, dtek, swiftech, etc)

i suggest u check out the amdmb watercooling forums for better support since there are hundreds of wateroolers there

Just a word of advice, if you want to get high fsb, get a chipset cooler as well. I didn't and now I'm ditching my water cooling because I can't fit my crystal orb on my northbridge along with the waterblock :( So... if you're interested in buying some stuff that works and has been used for about a week, Prive message me :)

Very strange, tests prove that watercooling the Northbridge yields very little to zero improvement on system performance.

With the waterblock he has it is nearly impossible to fit a good chipset cooler on it, therefore you might be forced to used a nb waterblock.

it's not so much that you NEED water cooling for nb, but you need some form of active cooling to reach the absurdly cool fsb's (talking around 170-175 and higher) on most mobos and with my waterblock I couldn't fit my crystal orb on so I can't get my old fsb of 175 going stably again :(
