are uv cc's and blue ones interchangable?
if they are them im going to do this, but the blue one doesnt seem to have the uv effect, so i guess id have to buy a new one

yes, they're interchangable as long as you can unplug it from your inverter :p
can get a new CC bulb only for $5 at svc.com

i guess those pens aren't conductive? they look like they have the potential to be... mine do at least. heh

the way he did the mod it doesn't really matter if the are conductive as he didn't bridge anything just traced conections that were already bridged

It looks kinda like a city at night all the roads leading to the core. Cool idea next there will be cards that are already uv sensitive.

heh, i know.. but still.. i would be less nervous about putting non-conductive **** all over my PCBs then i would be if it WERE conductive. also, if it's non-conductive, you wouldn't have to worry about bridging traces and you could do whatever you want

yes it would be less stressfull if it was non-conductive :P

Well it took me a few hours of searching but I managed to find some of those pens and bought them ..... Now I need to see if I can (or dare) draw on my MSI GeForce 4 Ti 4600 hehe.

Tell me you have a digicam. I wanna see pics!

Idea: if you ahve enough gel in them after your done, try coloring in the mem modules if they are not cooled. That should look AWSOME.

I don't have a Digicam myself, but my friend does ... it's not all that great eother, I've yet to manage to take a pic that shows the light from the UV light I have, but I'll give it a shot.

I don't know when I will be doing this, maybe within the next week or 2 as I'm waiting on some parts for my watercooling which system which would mean taking everything out of my computer for a few days. That'll give me the chance to do it :)

From the looks of the pens there is quite a lot of gel ink in them so I think I'll have some left to colour other components ... if not I can buy some more as they are pretty cheap.

It's a shame though that the blue pen doesn't react to the UV light as the green and pinky orange ones do :(
