DELL INSPIRON 5000 & ext keyboard

I have a friend who has the above laptop and would like to be able to use a full external keyboard.

Does that laptop have a PS/2 port and if so can you just plug in an ext. board?Please register YourTraySpell

Yes, it has a PS/2 port for connecting an external mouse or keyboard. If you wanted to connect both a PS/2 mouse and keyboard at the same time, you'd need a Y-adapter. (Or you could use a USB mouse or keyboard.)
