Anyone messed around with flourescent paint/pens?

you'd get much better answers if you asked more specific questions...
for example, i personally havn't used them in my system.. but i have a pretty good chance of answering whatever you're wondering... if you'd ask it.

I'm wondering how people have used the paints... like technique and application.

someone posted an image of a video card that someone used a UV pen on.. they colored all the traces..

looked pretty badass That was me. The mod was from metku. He took some gel pens that appeared UV reactive and tarces the traces going to the GPU on his vid card. Awsome.

where can you find the uv pens??? i've building a new system with uv stuff and i might look into that.

I would try Walmart, Kmart, Craft Store, or an office supply store. The ones used in thevideo card mod are just Bic's, like this (http://www.bicworld.com/inter_en/bdd/product_express.asp?product_id=105) . Hope that helps.

so drawing over the circuits with a reg. flourescent pen will work??? nothing bad will happen to the motherboard?, i don't want to do the video card.

They don't harm anything... evem when drawn across lines...
They are neat but I'm gonna buy some UV paints so it will look cleaner.

so there is absolutely no way i can screw anything up??? i really want to make sure. and by the way, svc cancelled my order on my third uv fan cuz my bro lost his wallet and we had to cancel the credit card. that sucks, now i only have two fans.:(

will get more later though.:D
