hey all (edit: DAMN IT! ..netfirms is down.. piss me off)
Edit again:
netfirms finally came back up, but it put an end to remote linking of pics... :(
here's the pics... http://angelfire.com/pq/korndogg/temp.html
where's the cheapest place to get a .com? and will i be guaranteed to be able to remote link to pics on my webspace?
</Edit>
finally got some pics of decent quality to show off my system.. there's also sort of a question at the end of this post...
also, these pics don't do any justice for how well the water glows with highlighter in it... i couldn't get a good "in the dark" pic.

like the style of the front of this case? not the matrix.. not the dragon.. the scorpion! hehe
http://korndogg.netfirms.com/Dscf0013.jpg
...the fan pulling air through one of the radiators.. i made that blowhole with a dremel.. you can see how smooth it is at the top of the pic.. see the reflection?

the other side..

again, the front of my case... like? i like the design, but it's kind of restrictive.. which is the question that i mentioned at the top of the post.. i'm thinking that i should cut this design in between the case badge and the power switchs... there are LED fans behind there, i think it would look good... anyone think i'll run into problems by doing this with my dremel? heh..

hope you like, i've been meaning to get these pics for a while now..
now it's time to update the page in my sig... hmmm

Sweet system ... I like how its all in the case and not around the case like some water cooling systems have stuff everywhere. also what's the skull for???
I really like that setup. Good job!!

yeah, i like having everything in one (...gigantic) case. makes things look a lot cleaner.
the skull is just a decoration on my fill hole :p
i've had bad experiences making reservoirs where you just screw a plug into a hole in the plexi, so i made a permanent fitting in the plexi that i cap off... not a single leak with this reservoir yet.
thanks for the compliments :)

That is one AWESOME rig man, you can brag about it all you want.:D
PS. What are those two fans above the RAM?

 I'd hate to see a leak in one of those tubes.. VERY nice rig, i must say. Your case is HUGE! Also, I suggest you paint the case a different color, looks like its only been primered.. :(

Jagermeister:
keeps the ram nice 'n' cool :p
notice how i have 3 sticks of ram with heatspreaders? without those fans, the center stick gets real hot.. and after a few hours of gaming it tends to crash without those fans.
Mrfreddio55:
that's cause the flash is too bright... it's darker then the pics show..

see the color of the edge on the top there? that's a pretty accurate representation..

I believe those two fans are cooling his RAM chips :)
Very sweet case, but two cooling rads is crazy! I would love to move to a water cooling or even a pelt cooling mod but I am holding off on that for now :)

yeah, my next plan is to get a 226watt peltier... that is, if i don't have to spend this cash on a new monitor... i think mine might be running on it's last legs...

I like the red X you have painted in the side of your case, although white is a boring color :D . I wanna see them too...:(

Pelts are not very expensive...what is expensive though is the separate PSU you need to get for such a large pelt. I think 226W go for something around $30 a piece...like here:
http://www.swiftnets.com/store/category.asp?CatID=11
The psu you need to power that puppy is about $110-120.

You lug that monster to a lan party???? Please tell me you dont. Your back must be killing you :D
I never noticed but the bottom portion of you case (if you can chop off the top part above the power button and lights) it would look like a APC UPS. ROFL. It even has the center power button and the shape of the UPS. Let me see if I can dig up a picture.

what's an ACP UPS? lol
and yeah.. i'm taking it to a lan party.. i'm really not looking forward to transporting it though.. it must way at least 60-80lbs and is awkward as hell to carry...
i'm debating whether or not i should bother taking the water out to transport it... i think i'm not gonna.. heh

Here is a link (http://www.apc.com/products/category.cfm?paramcategory=13&prod_type=UPS&web_displayed=all)
Click on the link and scroll down to the Back-UPS Pro, Select the model BP650S. The shape of your case reminds me of that UPS :)
