Well, I think I am going to put together my first computer, and this is the setup I have come up with:

http://secure.newegg.com/app/WishR.asp?ID=246513

I already have the Graphics card, it is a GeForce 4200TI.

I have never built my own computer, I have always bought from Dell. The only thing that worries me, is I don't have a PSU/MOBO/CPU combo that is correct. What do you guys think of this setup? Anything I am missing or could swap out for similar price/performance ratio? Would a 300W power supply be enough to run this?

I would like to stay with Intel.

I would sugget getting a lite-on cd-rw. I just got my lite-on 52x24x52x burner and it works great. It was around 54$. Where is the sound card?

I will probably go with the Santa Cruz DSP for a Sound Card.

Hehe. I remember the worst part about my first home-built was getting the led combo worked out right.

I will probably get a 2.4B and overclock it, but since it's your first time building, sure 2.6 isn't that bad, you should able to push the 2.6 a bit higher as well if needed.

The Kingwin case looks sweet, and since it allows you to put a lot of fans on it, it's good to stick with a 400W PSU just to be safe.
