Best way to clean a laptop LCD?

Are those wet and dry computer monitor wipes the best way to clean a laptop LCD, or is there something better? Thanks!

I use compressed air to keep the dust off my LCDs, especially the desktop LCD. I'm careful not to touch the LCD so I don't worry about oil and other contaminants from fingers.

You must be careful about solvents in any wipe you use. Some solvents can harm plastic. AFIK wipes made specifically for computers are OK.

I've used some of those BIO-wipes that they have in hospital's etc. But compressed air would have to be the safest option.

I used BIO-wipes because the kids using the laptops were pretty feral, and I'd always give the keyboard a good wipedown as well.

Just spit and wipe with your sleeve. Don't be a pansy and buy BioWipes.

I just use plastic-safe glass cleaner that I spray on a paper towel (although that's usually only after I spit and wipe with my sleeve and just end up making things worse ;) )

Yes and get contaminants on your screen. Buy the special computer wipes or use compressed air.
