If money and battery life was not an issue, which laptop would you buy? I drive A LOT w/ my job and I am looking for the best laptop for games and the biggest screen possible w/out sacrificing reliability. Is there a 16" screen w/ a good refresh rate to play games with? I will rarely use this computer w/out having it plugged into a wall. I have looked at Alienware, Compaq, Dell, Gateway, HP, IBM, Sager, Sony, Toshiba, and I just cant decide who has the best laptop for gaming. The Compaq, HP, and IBM have been eliminated b/c of their lack of a decent graphics card. The others have their strengths and their weaknesses.

As far as I know the fastest gaming laptops are the Dells with the Geforce 4200 Go cards. They get 3D Mark 2001 scores over 9000. The Alienwares are only getting in the 7000s with their Radeon 9000 cards. I don't know why Alienware isn't using the faster Geforce 4200 cards. The story may change when the new mobile GPUs come out in a few months. I'm not an expert so please confirm this with other sources before you make a decision. This is just based on my own research since I'm looking into getting a gaming laptop like you.

If you're looking for the best laptops for gaming, look no futher than a Sager. Sagers are basically Alienware's without the high price or fancy colors. Dont waste your time other companies, especially dell. Check this site out for more information. You may want to wait a bit for ATI's next mobile graphics chip though, the mobile 9600. http://66.226.80.33/sagerforums.com/
