Inventory Script

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. I am looking for a script that can keep a database of an inventory that will allow you to update, edit, etc. Also I would like to be able to have links in this database to add descriptions like maybe a popup window of the part. I would appreciate any suggestions.

A search feature would be useful also.
