How different is modding a plastic window then a glass window? I know the whole "avoid the fumes" difference, but will all tools still work the same? Drills still be effective or would that be overkill? (I guess I don't really know the type of plastic used.. blah).
I've got alot i want to do to the window, will the plastic hold up as well as a glass one would?

plexi-glass (plastic) would hold up a lot better and is a lot easier to shape and drill.

i've never heard of an actual glass window for a computer case....it's be extremely difficult to cut, and it would be kinda fragile. windows are almost always plexiglass or acrylic.

Glass would also make your computer much more heavy

Glass would protect you from those deadly UV :p
Stick with acrylic. If your going to cut it, wear a mask. There arent enough good reasons to use glass.

glass is: darn tough to scratch, almost impossible to drill, and easy to cut, as well as being heavy as sin.
lexan/plexi is: easy to scratch, easy to drill, cut, and bend, and is light.
just go lexan/plexi, unless you're looking for something really unique

and if you put plutonium in the case, make sure you can bloc the gamma adiation it emits with a 3 inch thick lead block. That'll make the case heavy.:D
