Like the old FastTrack66 trick. Just had to use a 100ohm resistor on that controller though and flash the bios.

And you could test it by putting the resister directly into the pins on the middle ide connector. When I did the FastTrack66 hack the first pin combination did not work. However the second one did. After a while I soldered it on.

Same here I just soldered it on, my brother now has the hacked card and runs a RAID.
