Is there such an animal as a cdr that can hold more than 700 meg -80min?
If so are they compatable with all cd writers?

You can burn with many new burners CD's that are up to 99 minutes (as opposed to the standard 80Minute/700MB ones). The thing is that your burner must support overburn, and the CDs might not be read by all CD-ROMs (especially older ones) as has been pointed out by soupnazi. SharkyExtreme.com
