It's finally modded a little. (*pictures*)

Finally did something to my case. These are all my first mods.

so far:

- window w/ lexan
- 120mm side fan
- red CCFL
- cutout the stock fan grilles for the front/rear fans
- 500Mhz celeron keychain :D
- stealthed drives

Planned:

- red light behind front door
- top blowhole

Pictures (came out pretty shitty, tried EVERYTHING on the camera... I guess it's just the redness of it...)

I agree nice job, Black & Red make a good combo. Next the Wiring, Nice big Window lets clean up the wiring.

Its looking good - Agree with TAZTG - stealth that wiring if you can it makes the pc look great.

Does your camera have a scene feature? If so maybe check to see if it has a night time mode. I recently discovered this with mine :)

It looking pink probably has more to do with the camera than it does the actual cathode... 'Cause I know my camera gays me sometimes with color.

there is one 12 inch uv and a small 4 inch uv. The case fans are LED Red and Blue. The pic is whacked and for some reason the UV comes out pink but the uv tubes are a deep purple. The combination of uv and the fan lights give the case a purple/pink irridescence at night.

Yes, the pins hurt. However I don't usually carry around my computer keys, that would be TOO geeky ;) .

I did try the night mode on the camera, the very first pic posted is taken with that. I'll try again today... maybe put up on some table ot something.


The case is the last one on THIS (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?submit=manufactory&catalog=7&manufactory=1601&DEPA=1&sortby=14&order=1) page. The one for $59.99, even though last winter I bought it for $54.99.

The cathodes are anything but pink, they're red. Bloody red. Got them from www.svc.com

Hahaha. I tried getting a job there (since I live 15 mins away), it was weird. On the website they said they have opening in the shipping dept. however in person they told me that they're not hiring anymore! ***?! I am so perfect for the position too.

i got 1 question for u, how did u get the window to hold up behind the side door? did u use glue, i used 3mm auto body tape from the outside(no other choice, if i did it from the inside the window wouldnt open it would hit the case)

I used GE brand Silicone Sealant. I had one 1/8" wide trail going all the way around. Then I put books on it for 24 hours. Holds like hell. I tried really hard to rip it off, but couldn't.

To be more specific the product is called: GE Silicone II 100% Silicone Sealant Clear. Pretty cheap too, I paid about $7 for a 3oz tube.

Oh, I also put little ghetto filters into the front intake fans now. Less dust.
