is there any case mods that would be worth doing for $0, or something that i already have in my house? heres my crappy case, i already have a side window with a blue neon light. http://www.lct-tech.com/images/pro_pic/caselt06sga.jpg dont laugh:D

Painting your case
Dremel out some holes, and those crappy stock fan grills
Stealth your CD drives

I can't think right now, but there are plenty more:)

what type of tools do you have readily availabe (as in...you don't have to buy it...so keep the price down to $0)

i can get anytool for free, but i dont have any paint, and i dont have a extra case bezel to use... and i already have a plexi glass window on one side.

an extra fans/fan grills/other computer components. that information would be usefull for suggestions...such as...if you have an extra fan and fan grill (and access to a dremel)...you could make your own blowhole.

It would be hard for us to suggest if we don't know what kind of Old Puter Gear you already have. Stealthing your CD Rom drives is easy enough. Take a look at the How-To Thread for more info.

i dont have any old parts, i have an old 16mb s3 vid card, thats about it, i no fan grills, no fans. i have stealthed the drives on my cousins computer cus he had a extra bezel, but i dont have a extra bezel so..

Time to bust out the dremel then!

Can you cut out any stock metal parts that would be restricting airflow? Also, you can paint your case:) Right as I type my bro is cutting out his favorite bands and I'm painting them on his case. I'm also painting the trays on my cd drives:cool:

you could clean up the wiring in your case...make your own rounded cables with a carpenters knife and some ducttape or plastic locks.

There are many ways to mod your case for free.

But the end result might not be pretty. :D
