I've been playing the leaked full-single-player beta and I'm not that impressed with it. I expected way better graphics :( God, I miss glide.

This is why you shouldn't look at a beta as a final product. The textures in the beta are not full res, and the graphics are crappy, wait until the game actually ships before you pass judgement.

Most of the textures are actually missing from the 1.5 beta

The leaked BETA isn't the "full-single-player" game, it's only the first couple of levels ... after you complete Silent Cartographer the game either locks up or leaves you in the dropship unable to do anything :) And as has already been explained (and accepted) half of the textures are missing and the ones used are pretty basic and flat, the purpose being so the people who the BETA was released to could get a feel for how the game was coming on.
Oh well, the game has gone gold so will be available in a few weeks in the shops ... or will be available online in a couple of days (for all you downloaders out there :D )

damn microsoft! Damn them to hell they never solve any problems
they only create new ones by giving us sheer hope that one day our lives will be like "tron" or "star wars" shoot even maybe :eek: "the matrix" god forbid

People have been having problems with that release as well, just be patient and wait for the final!

Even if 3dfx was still around you'd be missing it because they were is the process of discontinuing it before they went under.
