Javascript not working consistently?

Hi all,

I used Fireworks to create a navigation menu...basically a series of pop-up menus along a navigation bar image.

The results are at www.nirmanweb.com (http://www.nirmanweb.com). The javascript doesn't work all the time...it sometimes loads, and then when you reload the page, the script isn't working, and won't reload, no matter how many times you refresh. It also doesn't seem to work AT ALL on a mac (any mac users care to comment on this?).

Anyone know what the problems are? How would i fix this? I was under the impression that javascript was a universal language, being based on java, and would across platforms and browsers...

Also, anyone know why my tables look so crappy in IE?

The menu's works for me, but you might have some problems with your links... Ex. your link to index pages...

Yeah, i have to reupload the site so the links point to a php page for the index. Am holding off on doing it till i have some more work done on the main site.

No ideas on the javascript work?
