anybody have this laptop. it has all the features that im looking for,
but i was wanting to know if its able to use used on your lap, i.e. wont burn the crap outa you.

To be honest, im surprised there isnt more talk about sager in these forums, they seem to be some kick us machines, im in the UK and im thinking of ordering one from the US after reading the forums (for many months)

well another thing that im also looking at is the battery life, i mean i dont want a super long time, but jeez, its only 1 1.5 thats not even long enough for a movie!

hmmmm. that is a difficult one. It seems that there is a trade off between power and battery time.
The sagers do not have great battery times, something you lose by going for something so powerful. IMO the sagers are great if you are going to have them plugged in 95% of the time.
You have to balance up how much you actually want to use it on the move and decide from there.

Also I think that one has dual battery capacity. Might want to wait for Dell to ship a 9600Pro+Centrino Combo :D

well what i would like its to have most of the perforanace of my desktop pc on my laptop.
i can get most easily. i.e. the 1gb of ram the 7200rpm drive, and the cpu speed will be almost the same that just leaves the video card and i was wanting the 9600 cause it has similar to desktop performacne.
i want a centrino laptop with a 9600 is basically what it comes down to :)
