best HP laptops?

hi,

any comments on which are currently the best HP laptops (and any news on future models)? My needs are:

- capturing video from DV cam, converting and burning to DVD.
- playing the odd game (not a high priority).
- playing movies on a tv-out.
- the smaller & lighter, the better.

there are so many models, im confused! :confused:
