I'm looking to get a 512mb secure digital card for my pocket pc so I can watch movies. Is there any difference between different cards, or are they all pretty comparable?

AFAIK, you are basically paying for size/shape and brand (warranty, quality, lifespan of product, etc). They are all equally fast.

There is one major difference between cards other than build reliability (for which you would have to read reviews). Some older cards have slower read/write speeds.
Here's a small example.
10MB/s write/read: Simpletech (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00006JI6U/qid=1069686864/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/102-4750924-4389702?v=glance&s=photo)

2MB/s write/read: Kingston (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00006BBY4/qid=1069687119/sr=1-5/ref=sr_1_5/102-4750924-4389702?v=glance&s=photo)

Make sur eto get the most out of it, encode your movies in divx, and get a divx player for pcoket pc (many available, google) I would think at the required resolution for such a small screen, you could prolly get 2 dvds @ 250mb a piece on there.
