i just got a hp 4560 notebook so far its well decent. it came out to around 1100 after rebates and tax (said it was 999 but 100 on tax) but theres a problem. I dunno if they are all like this or what but it seems like my screen is too bright on the top and the bottom. Like when i open a black screen saver the top will be white and so will the bottom. ITs sorta anoying could this be a defect? btw it does change intensity as i move the screen around. also it has on board memory o yeh it ****ing sucks 902 whole 3dmarks

Because laptops use thin TFT screens, you can more easily see the light source. It's pretty common actually, but then again, I'm not sure how bright you're talking about.
Well, I don't know what you were expecting from a laptop. 902 sounds just about right for a laptop.
I think you just had high expectations for your laptop, but the reality is all laptops are "weak" with the exception of some that actually use desktop chipsets (but even those can't compare to a real desktop computer).

What were you expecting it's the Radeon IGP Video Chipset, and to be honest you may as well have Intel onboard video. It's shared Video Memory. As for the brightness thing I'm not 100% on what that's all about.
