fan controller...

i was looking at a few fan controllers and i read that most of them have 4 connectors for 4 fans.My question is...would it be possible to hook more than 1 fan to each connection.Like have 6-8 fans on something that says 4 fans becuase it says each connection can handle like 20watts.:confused:

you can hook up more than one fan per connection if it can handle the wattage, e.g., the sunbeam or pcmods controllers.

I prefer the Vantec Nexus controller, each of the four pots can handle up to 18w, or several normal case fans each. One one monster fan, like the Vantec 90x38mm Tornado, it draws 12w.

I have 7 fans hooked up to my PCToys Fan Controller.
I did keep the Tornado's on separate connectors.
