ok i have 5 .wma i want to put on my web page... but i dont want them to auto start playing... i want the user to click on what song they want to hear, and how do u do it so they cant save the songs??

but my web site doesnt allow flash.. there has to have a html code for it

Not to make it so they can't steal it. Even then, they can still record it if they really want to.

I just convert my stuff into mp3 and store it for streaming behind a .gif icon hyperlink. It's nothing fancy, but it works.

If you don't want to go dreamweaver or Fireworks, it simply is a matter of imbedding an object. For example in MS Word, Insert--->object then any media object (eg Windows Media player), as well you can probably edit the object to look the way you want. When you've placed the player object and resized etc, then go to right click 'properties' in design mode. After that you will find a 'url' address section to paste the file location of the sound. If you click on the 'custom' part of the 'properies' list, you will get a set of options to choose from including whether you want it to auto start or not. If you want to get rid of the visualization window, a quick way is to just resize the object. Remember though, it won't allow you to edit the imbedded object unless you're in design mode.
