You guys (gals?) regularly post terrific instructions for building gaming PCs. How about expanding on this and doing the same for home theater personal computers?? There's a growing demand for this area and your advice would go a long way towards helping solve many of the case/processor/video card/dvd player/sound card/etc. mysteries and headaches regularly experienced by DIYers like myself.
Thanks for the consideration.........

Personally, a HTPC is no different from an ordinary PC except:
1. Tvtool http://tvtool.info/index_e.htm
2. A Geforce 2/3/4(not MX) with S-video out (only cards supported by TVtool)
3. A soundcard with a SPDIF digital out
4. S-video extention cable and audio cables
5. Dvd-rom
I just use my PC to watch xvid/divx, Dvd-rips on my TV and HT receiver.

HTPC's are not gaming PC's, and this site is primarily focused on gaming hardware. I doubt you will see a HTPC guide. Sorry.
