It's funny how WoW beta runs better then most final release games out there. I watch my friend play this once in a while and it never crashes and has very few bugs, which is more than I can say for *cough*shadowbane release*cough*. The only problem with it is that the server crashes every once in a while but other than that it is damn stable.
Now let's talk about how cool blizzard is for delaying games a long *** time but getting the most stable and fun games in the end ;). I personally don't mind the delays if the game turns out to be 1. worth it and 2. Virtually bug free.

A multiplayer game is only as stable as its servers, what good is it if the client runs 24/7 if the server crashes every 15 mins :P
But yeah, Blizzard always tests games to the extreme (Diablo 2) and then patches them to the extreme (Diablo 2).

I like how blizzard does that. They would rather delay a game that to release with any bugs in it like some compainys *cought* Activision *cough* and then afterwords they work there butts off to patch the game for the little bugs they missed and then they work on balncing issues that really dont come up until it released to the pubic. Unlike the a lot of other compains they realse games that are still in the beta like stange and they may give only one patch and be done with it *cough*Activision*cough*
I like how blizzard is among the few compainy that dont try to get you money and be done with you. They rather tick off the public by delaying a game some that releasing a bad product and I personal am among those people who dont mine waiting a little longer for things to get fixed

First off the servers don't crash every 15mins. They crash once in a while, which is normal for MMORPG games. They still have a few more beta stages to go through, from what I have heard atleast, but so far the game looks almost completely ready for release.
spamjedi: If you even remotely like MMORPG's you'll love WoW. I sit back and watch my friend play and yurn to play myself.

I hope they release it soon, otherwise they aren't going to be much competition for Everquest 2

WoW offers something NEW. EQ2 is just more of the same. From what I can see, WoW looks to have a pretty extentsive PvP system. I also prefer the graphics of WoW to EQ2. The graphics in WoW don't age nearly as fast because it's more animated. EQ2 will look dated as soon as something new comes along.
Play EQ2 if you like shiny water effects and you liked the original EQ.
Play WoW if you want a MMORPG done right with a reasonable level of PvP.
God. I NEED this game. I long to have it. It's like... my "precious".:p

imo once the game is open to the public then that's when you'll know for sure how the servers will hold up...
also since blizzard is a big time developer that's very well established they can tell the publisher to screw off and don't bother them until they say it's done...their budget is probably far more greater than many games currently in development as well...
