new laptop! Woot! Well, it feels smooth and looks great. I sort of forgot to order a wireless card though...oh well 3dmark score coming soon. I also picked up DOOM 3 so I'll tell ya'll if it can actually run on here or not, but they had it running on a low end LCD and a 128MB FX5200 at Fry's, I asked them and they told me this, so i have high hopes:D Ok scores later.

plays cs:cz like a charm:p need sleep so I'll test D3 tomorrow. Also there is 1 dead pixel right in the middle of the screen it seems, but it is above eyes level so it's not too bad. Otherwise the screen basically rox:D The real test comes tomorrow though:D For now I need sleep.

Installed D3 this morning and gave her a run. Seems to play ok. I just used default settings (whatever they are) and got pretty smooh gameplay. A little jitteriness and some rough edges are about the only problems I could see.

Also, is there an app for OC'ing mobile cards? (Just for fun) Rage3dtweak won't work for some reason.

And here's an odd fact. If you set the cards settings to performance it's 3dmark score goes down by 50 points or so. How odd...

Hmmmm, also D3 crashed to Desktop for some reason, I have no idea why though...

It does that a lot if you aren't using the latest catalyst drivers. You can get mobileMod from Rage3D that allows you to use the Cats on mobile cards or I think the omega drivers work.
