Hate hunting and consider it a vile and unnecessarily cruel treatment of harmless, innocent animals. Might sound kinda hypocritical from someone who is probably a cyber-mass-murderer but no matter how much I love gory stuff on the comp (I can watch all of rotten and not even blink) I couldn't shoot anything for the life of me. I don't hate hunting games per sé but do consider them extremely boring. Much like sports games.

I used to hunt as a teenager, now I find the animal population is rapidly declining. It's just not worth it anymore, and I really miss seeing wild animals. I encourage you to only hunt if the animals are plentiful...and even then, use what you kill. It's plain wrong to kill something and leave it to rot.

Don't deer hunting games suck?
Why not just skin everyone in CS (or your choice of FPS) as a deer? ;)

well...reguardless of the animal population I guess the deer hunter games are pretty decent...the graphics don't seem too bad and it seems to have an extensive list of features...

Now if more people would think like THAT then I'd be all for the development of more and better hunting games :)

Speaking of antlers...Adult Swim, Dr. Weird, "BEHOLD! I've grafted an antler onto my groin! You know, so I can better fit in with the herd."

Happy hunting.

Hunting is a good thing. While the populations of certain types of animals have been hurt by it, many other species need their populations maintained through hunting or it would create problems. Deer for example have to be thinned or they would become rampant and eat all the food intended for us. Not to mention the endless amounts of cars they'd be taking out (stupid buggers).

Deer hunter is pretty cool I just haven't ever gotten the hang of it in the bars. Now, set me at a Golden Tee machine and I'll slay people.

Never really got the hang of it. I remember all I did with the first Deer Hunter was shake the antlers again and again. Never even saw my first Deer. :D

this has been changed, you have all kinds of calls you can do and you only need to do them a few times and then just wait for a bit and the deer will come running in.
i hate the antler call, now there are doe in heat calls and whitetail smell sprays and even electronic calls.

Wow, surprises me that they didn't include the homing surface-to-surface electronic laser guided subnuclear anti-deer missile (tm) rocket launcher.

lol:D i wish, it would make it alot easier to hit those little bugger. but i think this year you can use a dog to try to find the animals before you go crunching through the wilderness. thats good, i was always scaring everything away.

I used to hunt teenagers, but the police said it's a no-no so I had to give it up...

Still have a trophy wall full of acne cream and retainers though.

You know, go out by the mall around noon and catch them just as they wake up...

thats what ive learned from deer hunter 2004 and from real hunting. find the best times to bag a deer, and know it for every location. im looking forward to settling in on a kentucky farmland before taking down a 200pounder in dh 2005.

I've shot and killed deer, partridge and rabbits. There's nothing fun and glorious about the actual killing . The hunting part was the real addiction though . But thats just me.

Thank you, thank you. Hunting is a pretty good hobby I think. As long as you're responsible and realize exactly what you're doing. Never hunted partridge though. and despite what you all say, Im def interested in getting this demo as soon as its released. so I'll let you know how that turns out.

Oddly enough, I grew up on a Kentucky farmland and we treasured the deer. My neighbors would sometimes hunt but we had salt licks we'd put around our farm that would attract the deer. Our place became a defacto safe haven for deer. Pretty cool just sitting on your porch and watching the deer go bye. Worst expeience I had dealing with hunting was when some pouchers were hunting on our farm and deciding giving my dog the head of the deer would shut her up. Of course my dog wanted to show me her prize.

Worst way to be woken up in bed, EVER!
