Looks pretty cool. Kinda like Desert Combat evolved. I like how they incorporated the original theme song.:)

Downloading now... I'm looking forward to this game more than any other out or coming out. It's going to be DC on steriods, evreything that I thought might have been missing is going into BF2. It's going to be so great!

DICE Sweden Rocks!

Eh, looks ok. The main problem with Battlefield is the people who play it, which can't really be fixed.

I hope they make it so when you fall 2 feet you don't die though, that's always annoying :p

Game looks sick. Definitely has a lot of potential, but the gameplay and balance will be critical.

Oh man that Trailer was cool!

I can't wait, I want it NOW! The animations look fantastic, that roll to prone is just crazy. The material penetration was nice, I love the bullet holes in the car and on the aluminum siding! I'm definitely pre-ordering this game so I can be among the first to play.

:D

that's not "just" what it shows, the graphics and physics look years ahead of previous BF games. Not to mention the animations, material damage, and all around bad-assness of the game.

making good movies is going to be fun though, there already is a nice filming community for BF, now they will actually have official tools to help them.

As for the date: "spring 2005" is about all we know for now.

The trailer looks awesome. I doubt they're going to change the gameplay all that much. They'll probably just update the graphcs, physics, and damage models and take the rough edges off.

Undoubtably, but I stand by what I said. ;)

The comment was in response to PointlesS's post saying it just showed they could make a good movie. I was pointing out that the trailer showed lots of things about the game.

actually it's pretty fun to do that in real life. Last time I tried that during a paintball game I broke my brand new "WG-65" marker :(

guess I can't abuse & do the same moves with a paintball guy like a real m16 even no matter how closely the marker it resemble the real thing :)

it got fixed via warrenty but it's not like it's "new and never damaged" before.

I just have to adjust it again
