can anyone recommend a good book to learn flash from start to end with good examples to work with as you go? I know pretty much the basics, but want to learn actionscript as tweening is obviously not the best option for flash.

Another thing that's driving me crazy. I created an image slideshow that pulls the images from a directory and displays them in a movie clip. I'm recently trying to use this old code and slideshow with new images, but none of them show up. THe old slideshow was in MX, this is now MX 2004, could that make a difference. They are just .jpg images, I have no idea what is different.

edit: Well, figured it out, it was the progressive jpgs that were no good.
