I had some extra parts laying around

- slot amd athlon/mobo
- 512mb pc133
- 40gb 5400rpm HDD
- 250watt PSU

but no case to put em in.. so i did some digging around and found a cardboard box that houses everything perfectly (snug fit).... heres the first stages :o

I`d at least use a box that was strong enough to hold the hardware without buckling when moved about. That one looks abit weak.







Oh-wait, I see you`ve used a cardboard MB tray to reinforce it. :p

I had my second rig in a cardboard box until two weeks ago. Now that it has a case, it's a million times quieter.
